On the Saturday evening, 30 April, Martin Alexander will organise a rotating dinner between the yachts, so stock up on your culinary delights before arriving. Further details will be provided by Martin in advance of the weekend.
On Sunday 1st May, by courtesy of the Royal Southampton Yacht Club, a dinner has been arranged at their Gins Farm Clubhouse (to commence at 19.30), on the bank of the delightful Beaulieu River, where moorings have been reserved. Shore parties will also be most welcome to participate.
The menu for the dinner will be as follows:
- Smoked Mackerel, Salad finished with horseradish, chive cream.
- Chicken Supreme served with a roasted tomato, garlic and basil sauce
- Strawberry and raspberry Eton Mess
- Coffee and Mints
The cost of the dinner is £25 per head. This does not include pre-dinner drinks and wine with the meal. The rig will be blazers and club tie or equivalent.
Skippers will be responsible for paying for their own mooring fees on each night.
Bookings should be made using the Register button, as soon as possible, with your cheque for the dinner (payable to RNVR Yacht Club) sent to Nigel Collingwood, 185 Pegwell Rd, Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 0LY to arrive no later than 22nd April.
