Our Annual Dinner this year takes us on a second visit to The RAF Club, 128 Piccadilly, London WIJ 7PY.

Our principal Guests of Honour are Air Vice-Marshal David Niven CB CBE and Commodore Andrew Jameson (Commander Maritime Reserves).

The evening will start with a sparkling wine reception and this will be followed by dinner comprising:

Pear & Stilton Salad
with Bacon and Assorted Salad

Fillet of Pork Medallions
with a Cream & Marsala Sauce, on a bed of red cabbage, sauté potatoes and a selection of vegetables

Lemon Cheese Cake
with Fresh Cream

Coffee & Petits Fours

Dinner will be accompanied by fine red and white wines and followed by port. A cash bar will operate after dinner until 2300. 

Dinner will be followed by speeches by our guests and the annual presentation of Club awards.

Carriages at 2315.

Dress for the evening will be Mess Undress or Black Tie, in either case with neck decorations and miniatures.

The cost of the Dinner will be £65.00 per person attending. As the dining room will accommodate up to 140 diners, we are once again in the happy position that there will be no practical limit on the number of guests that members may bring to this prestigious event.  But please book early as it is ‘first come, first served’. Should the limit be reached a waiting list will be established.

The deadline is Friday 8th November 2013.


Wheelchair access is at 6 Old Park Lane (to the West of the main entrance) and the concierge will then assist with further lift access arrangements from this point.

Bookings should be made using the Register button, as soon as possible and by Friday 8th November 2013 at the latest.
  • Register yourself and any other members or guests in your party

  • Ensure you complete the title, name and decorations section for each of you 

  • Use the Notes box to record any special dietary and other requirements

Notes on How to Book
Would all members register themselves individually.  Only non-members should be recorded as guests.  If another member is paying for you, they should note that when they send the cheque.

If you wish to add or remove guests from your booking, or make any changes at all, then contact the organisers by email.

Lastly, complete the registration by pressing the "Confirm and Proceed With Payment" button. This will cause an email to be sent.  If you don't receive the email, then your registration hasn't been made.

Then, please send your cheque (payable to RNVR Yacht Club) to David Whitby, Tudor Lodge, 50 Fernlea Road, South Benfleet SS7 1HD, as soon as possible.
